What the Vents Are For

What’s under the skin of this Corvette matters just as much as what you can see. For example, its instantly recognizable side vents are very much functional, directing exhaust air out through the rear vents. The engine also has vents on either side of the roof allowing hot air to escape when the vehicle is idling.

Turning ability

While the mid-engine design of the Corvette gives it instant star power, it has a purpose. The placement of the engine results in the car having greater balance when carving through turns. The vehicle is designed to literally rotate around the driver as it turns.
